In the current scientific article mechanisms for motivating the employees in the tourism company are discussed. The aim of the scientific work is to examine and identify the factors that have a favourable impact on the efficiency of human labour. An emphasis is placed on the mechanism methods which should be used by managers to achieve positive results. The specifics of the motivation of the employees in the tourism company are examined in order to make a distinction between the needs and incentives of the human capital in the tourism sector and in other sectors of the economy. Attention is paid to the management tools for provoking more responsible and better quality of the work activities of the employees. The author draws the conclusion that in some cases the motivation policy is not effective enough and should be reviewed and improved. Leading aspects of the article are the opportunities to improve the mechanisms for motivation of the employees in the tourism company.
