The dripper is a relatively power consuming hydraulic element and the energy consumption as well as the investment per unit area of drip irrigation system largely depends on. Decisive factor for this is the exponent in the equation of dripper key curve. For this reason, the relationship between this index and the acceptance loss of pressure in the irrigation taps, the degree of reduction of energy consumption with increasing the number of nozzles of a tree as well as by change of operating parameters of the dripper has been established. This allows solving optimization problems in the design process.
