The goal of the study is to investigate the influence of cereal cultures as predecessors on the yield and quality of rye grain. The results did not show the great genotype differences of physical-chemical characteristics after 6 cereal crops. As a suitable to prove are rotation sections corn-rye - 436 kg/da and sorghum-rye - 432 kg/da of grain. The most convenient cereal predecessor concerning biological value was wheat because of higher content in protein of rye grain. [BG].
