Balance experiments for establishing of the true digestibility of the amino acids of triticale with Japanese quails have been conducted. Two methods were used - fecal and indicator. The average true digestibility of the amino acids, using the fecal methods, were 79,53, and for the essential amino acids - 81,79. The highest true digestibility shows glutamine - 87,43 and the lowest - 77,05. The average true digestibility of the amino acids, using the indicator method, was 79,41, and for the essential amino acids - 82,64. The highest true digestibility shows methionine - 94,42, and the lowest - histidine - 76,01. Significant were the differences between the both of the methods by arginine, glutamine and methionine.
