Insecticides resistance in thrips is the main reason for the failure of chemical control. Delaying of this process is possible when applying other forms of control - natural enemies, pathogens, plant extracts with repellent action, etc. While there are relatively few data available on pathogens of thrips, fungi are the most common microbes used. Fungi do not have to be ingested to be infective and it makes them suitable for insects with piercing-sucking insects. [ENG]
