30. The entomophages of the family Scelionidae (Hymenoptera, Platygastroidea) in the apple plantations of the Agricultural University – Plovdiv. V. Scelionides and biological fight in Bulgaria.

The parasitic hymenoptera of the Family Scelionidae have the important advantage over man other groups of entomophages to destroy pests in the early egg phase, before causing any damages to the plants. In the research made on the apple plantations, 4 species new to the science have been registered; 5 species new to the fauna in Bulgaria, 22 species new to the fauna of the fruit plantations in Bulgaria, and 14 new to the apple plantations on the territory of Plovdiv.
