Abstract
The problems, faced by family businesses, have been studied in a number of scientific publications, and most of them are related to insufficiency of financial resources, lack of the necessary management and economic training, or single-person decision-making. The research, conducted in this direction, turns us to a relatively poorly studied problem – insufficiently effective foreign language training, impeding the sustainable development of the family type companies. The reasons for this finding are given, and specific guidelines for overcoming the problem are formulated.
Key words: insufficiency of financial resources, management and economic training, single-person decision-making, foreign language training
