50. Influence of foliar spray on the growth of pepper (Capsicum annuum L.)

A fieid experiment to establish the influence different fertilizers for foliar spray on the growth of pepper, was carried out in 2007-2008 at the area of Kavarna. Several variants have been tested: 1. N₀P₀K₀; 2. N₁₂P₆K₆; 3. N₂₄P₁₂K₁₂; 4. Grogreen (N₂₀P₂₀K₂₀ + ME); 5. Hortigrow universal (N₂₀P₂₀K₂₀); 6. Kristalon special (N₁₈P₁₈K₁₈Mg₃); 7. N₁₂P₆K₆ + Grogreen; 8. N₁₂P₆K₆ + Hortigrow universal; 9. N₁₂P₆K₆ + Kristalon special; 10. N₂₄P₁₂K₁₂ + Grogreen; 11. N₂₄P₁₂K₁₂ + Hortigrow universal; 12. N₂₄P₁₂K₁₂ + Kristalon special. As a result it was found that foliar spray could to a great extend compensate the reduced content of mineral fertilizers in the soil.
