Resume
An overview of the five existing specialized publications dealing with local commemorative names with Russian eponyms in Bulgaria is presented. The contribution of this article is to clarify the eponyms used in the villages of Belokopitovo, Constantine, Lyublen and to reveal for the first time the memorial value of the oikonyms Orlovo – 36. Orlovski Infantry Regiment, and Tsaryovo (Podslon 1950) – in memory of Alexander II, the Tsar-Liberator.
