Successful rapeseed storage requires dry and cool conditions, which makes active aeration necessary to store rapeseed in the country. The influence of active aeration, purity and initial quality of dry rapeseed on its storability potential has been studied. Ambient-air cooling contributes to preserve of rapeseed quality during long-term storage in the presence of favorable preliminary conditions: low moisture and free fatty acids level and low impurities content.
