In Bulgaria as agricultural lands with high conservation value could be accepted 17 nature habitats according the Directive 92/43 of the EU. The main treats of these lands are connected with destroying pastures and meadows and turning into cultivated lands; bushes aggression, overgrazing and etc. The supporting measures by the National Agroecological Program will motivate farmers to apply practices that will provide conservation and maintaining of natural resources, biodiversity and landscape.
