Abstract

The road infrastructure represents a serious segment in the group of networks and facilities of the technical infrastructure, legislatively regulated in the Law on Territorial Planning, the Law on Roads and others. Various types of road infrastructure are available in agricultural areas as service road communication arteries. In addition to the different classes of roads, agricultural areas, in view of their functions and needs, also include field roads, internal roads in the range of farms and the like. All these structural elements of the road infrastructure in the agricultural regions in their unity represent a communication network inside the agricultural regions, they connect one agricultural region with other regions and territories with different purposes. In this sense, the road infrastructure in agricultural areas fulfills the role of both a factor and a condition ensuring the sustainability of the area.
