This study was conducted in the two-year period of 2006 and 2007 to determine the parameters of growth and reproduction of preliminary propagation of prebasic plants from two vigourously developing introduced raspberry cultivars Tulameen and Meeker at four terms of vegetation.
They were grown in special conditions, in cultivation facilities covered with a close-meshed net and overlaid with a polyurethane coating. These protection measures were intended to protect the propagated plants from carriers of viral diseases. Estimation of propagation potential of the cultivars was made. Our standard cultivar Balgarski Rubin was used as a control.
