The influence of light conditions on the in vitro growth reaction of hop was investigated by cultivation of microcuttings from 4 cultivars – Bullion, Target, Naget, Zlaten pivovar. The hop explants were put to the test under the following light conditions: light intensity – 1000 lx, 2000 lx, 3000 lx ; photoperiod – 16/8 h day/night, 12/12 h day/night, 8/16 h day/night. The best results for in vitro growth of hop explants were received under the influence of 2000 lx light intensity and photoperiod -12/12 h day/night.
