Seeds from tomato cv. Belle Fl, cucumber cv. Kalunga F1 and pepper cv. Zlaten medal 7 were irradiated whit helium-neon laser, 632,8 nm wave length and exit power 20 mW and with photodiode kwazi – monochromatic light at wave length 682 nm and density of optical power 80 mW/cm2. The following variants were tested: 1. Fivefold (seven fold for cucumber) laser irradiation; 2. Irradiation with fotodiode – 5 min exposition (l min for cucumber); 3. irradiation with laser + photodiode with 14 days postradiation period; 4. Irradiation with laser + photodiode without postradiation period. The influence on some morphological and physiological characteristics of seedlings at the 35-th day after the sprouting for the cucumbers, at the 55—th day for the tomatoes and at the 70-th day for the pepper was investigated. It was established that the seedlings from irradiated seeds set up larger leafe surfice and root system and synthesized higher dry phytomasse. Under the influence of the irradiation the content of dry matter in the vegetable organs was increased.
