Abstract
Religious tourism is tourism for the purpose of visiting religious places, traveling for the purpose of worshiping holy places of faith or participating in religious rituals. In order to practice religious tourism, a tourist must be familiar with the culture and religion of the holy place he is about to visit. The report presents information on Christianity and Islam and religious tourism on the territories of Bulgaria and Syria. Famous religious sites are indicated with useful information about them. The report included a call for people of different faiths to be more united.
