Maize hybrid Kn-Sugary 1 is a single cross between lines Naslada 3 x Sugary 1L created during 1998y in the Maize Research Institute – Kneja. It is middle early hybrid – group 300-339 FAO. The grain is sweet corn, with yellow color. It is a recognized expert commission IASAS for inclusion in a list of catalog of the Republic of Bulgaria of 06.03.2007y. member 14, paragraph 2 by low on patent, order № 33-01-139 from 15.03.2007y. The best for maize is 2004y. Hybrid studies Kn-Sugary 1 outnumber standard cobs standard Jubilee with 75% and 43% for variant without irrigation and under irrigation to yield respectively 86% and 29%. Average of two years for hybrid Kn-Sugary 1 dry matter content sugars and starch is 30%, 3%, 16%, and this standard Jubilee – 32%, 3%,18%. The hybrid is resistance to the lodging and the most economically important diseases and pests.
