26. Analysis of the potential for sustainable development of conventional and organic dairy farms

Resume

The purpose of the analysis is based on the results of the economic, environmental and social characteristics of two different dairy cattle production systems to identify and compare their index of sustainable development and conditions for its improvement. Stages through which this research passed are: study of literature in the field of sustainable development; development of a methodology for the study of sustainable development suitable for dairy farms; research and analysis of the sustainability of both production systems – conventional and organic; conclusions and recommendations.
