The study was carried out in multifoliolate alfalfa agrocenose in the period of 2005-2006 at the Experimental Field of the Agricultural University, Plovdiv to determine the species and the population dynamics of the most important pests on multifoliolate alfalfa. Twenty-seven species were found. The main pests were Phytononus variabilis Hrbst., Phitodecta fornicata Brugg. mid Sitona spp.
