5. A demographic look at the municipality of Plovdiv over the 2008-2013 period

The natural growth (NG) of the population in the municipality of Plovdiv over the period 2008/2013 is studied in the report. We followed the natural motion of the population, which includes two basic components – birth rate and mortality.
The study as a demographic process includes the assessment and analysis of the quantitative characteristics of birth rate, reasons for their dynamics, similarly for mortality, allocation of birth rate and mortality by sex and the general population alterations as a result of these processes.
