15. Tourism market segmentation in Bulgaria

The tourism market is highly dynamic and influenced by a number of external factors. One of the concepts that may very well be applied is the market segmentation. Many researchers conclude that there is not a deterministic procedure that is valid in all cases.
The author attempts to demonstrate the use of different criteria for dividing the tourism market, with an emphasis on geographical and behavioral segmentation. An analysis of the main characteristics of the thus formed market segments was conducted.
