By examining this particular role, the research also aims to increase the competitiveness of the tourism products suitable for this target group. The attitude of people with disabilities towards tourism are examined and assessed by means of a survey as a key method for collecting primary information. The method of random sampling was applied when choosing the target group. A standard questionnaire was used in which the questions were strictly chosen with the aim of providing a representative and comparable information. The survey was conducted by a random (stochastic) sample in order to ensure representative information. The so called street survey was used i.e. inquiring people at public places. The observation method was a survey with a pollster. In the respondents’ answers, the prevailing assessment reflected subjective opinions and perceptions of accessible tourism environment for people with disabilities.
