The results of the analysis of the role played by agrarian university in the sphere of agrarian consulting on the example of participation in regional information consulting agro-industrial complex service during 2006-2009 are overviewed in the article. The authors have found agricultural producers’ demand in informational and consulting services as the condition of raising economic efficiency. The factors influencing successful promotion of innovations through agricultural consulting and their participation in the development of innovative infrastructure of industrial agrarian sphere have been determined.
