Abstract

The factors of the environment in which the various economic sectors function are characterized by increasing complexity. This poses a number of new challenges for market entities, which in the context of sustainable development must adapt to resource limitations, dynamic market conditions, geopolitical events, etc. With particular force, this applies to the agricultural sector, which must also adapt to the increasingly noticeable changes in the climate. The sustainability of agricultural production is a matter of extreme importance that requires innovative approaches, rational thinking and new skills. Conservation agriculture, with its focus on sustainable ways of producing agricultural produce, can play an important role in the adaptation of agricultural cooperatives to the new realities of the agribusiness environment.
