Resume

The study of the geo-demographic processes in the South-Central region reveals the nature of the geo-demographic picture for a certain period of time. The South-Central region is part of the administrative-territorial classification given by NUTS and 20.06% of the population live in the region. The processes associated with the geo-demographic features in these areas largely reflect the ones (geo-demographic) taking place in Bulgaria. The study covers part of the geo-demographic processes: fertility, mortality and natural population growth in the South-Central region.
