The report concerns the issue of the spiritual bases of rural tourism destinations. The thesis is proven by analyzing the needs of the natural human (guest house owner) and the civilized human (the tourist); the emphasis is on the national spirit and values of the Bulgarian character as a spiritual part of the rural tourism project.
