Organic agriculture has finally renounced the use of herbicides. Taking into account the positive qualities of weeds, the aim is not to completely eliminate them but to reduce them for achieving the quantity which is not harmful to the yields.
Under these conditions, weed control in a non-chemical way is becoming ever more important and a major role is played by the variety of crop rotation as well as other ways of weed control. Appropriate machines and devices are used to that end and therefore particular attention is paid to the implemented mechanical and thermal control of weeds.
